Staying Linked(In)

Hello guys, Rafsun here. We all have LinkedIn account but how many times have we really used that piece of software to its fullest capacity?

I realised that I use LinkedIn but I never do proper justice to the software.
Here I will be discussing a few things I learned about LinkedIn That you can use to make the best out of your LinkedIn profile.

Introduction is the first impression you have

We all know how important it is to have a great first impression. However, in linked in your bio does the same job for you. Use the key words that you want to be known for. If you are an accountant like me talk about skills like Xero and others. Talk about your values. These will set you apart from other people in the same profession.

Invest your time in references

We have seen that how important people have so many recommendations and endorsements on their profile. Try to get as many as possible to work on your profile. This will give you and edge compared to others.
For that make sure you work with as many people as possible and work on your work ethic so they can vouch for your work.

Write articles

I have seen that a lot of people write articles on LinkedIn and medium to share their expertise on a given field try to do that time to time. So, you can share everything you have learnt from your studies, personal experience or personal development.
